08年、『ef - the latter tale.』にて、その完結を迎えた『ef - a fairy tale of the two.』。そのサウンドトラックCDを、09年2月27日に発売いたします。

　本作「Alato(アラート)」は、2部形式となった上記作品の楽曲・100曲超を収録しております。その結果、録音時間の限界まで収めたディスク（AUDIO-CD）で“3枚組”というボリュームとなりました。もちろんメインテーマ、エンディングテーマ等、3曲のボーカル楽曲も完全収録。それぞれのマキシシングルを買い逃した、というお客様にもご満足していただける仕様となっております。

　またパッケージは、B5サイズ・豪華上製本仕様。その上、付属のブックレットには、曲目リスト・歌詞に加えて、下記の特別コンテンツをご用意いたしました。

　●1.“新堂凪” 描き下ろし漫画
　アニメ『ef』劇中で、漫画家の主人公（ペンネーム：新堂凪）が描く漫画部分の作画を担当した、黒井みめい氏による描き下ろし漫画を掲載。CDのブックレットに合わせ、音楽をテーマとした内容となっております。

　●2. 制作陣による特別座談会
　PCゲーム/アニメ『ef』で音楽を担当した、天門、柳らによる特別座談会を掲載。『ef』の音楽世界、そして多メディアで展開した同作楽曲の、創作の総括等をテーマとした内容です。

　純粋な音楽集としてお楽しみいただけるのは勿論のこと、『ef』という作品をご存知の方には、その音楽・物語世界を、耳でも、目でもお楽しみ頂ける作品集となっております。
